Funding research and programs that advance public health and safety, and ultimately help consumers to lead safer and more productive lives.
The first grant recipient was the Burn Foundation. The $25,000 grant was made available from a firm settlement in a products liability case involving catastrophic burns to a young child. The grant will help to fund a mentorship program for burn survivors by helping patients and their families deal with the unique challenges facing severe burn injuries.
“We’re working to ensure that individuals and their families who have suffered harm are treated fairly and compassionately”, says Joel Feldman, managing partner. “The foundation is a natural extension of our dedication to championing victims’ rights.”
