Plaintiffs Firms Are Finding Ways to Give Back

The Legal Intelligencer, August 2010 writes about Philadelphia law firms and their efforts to give back to the community.

The article features Anapol Schwartz, and their charitable work in Philadelphia through the Anapol Schwartz Foundation which has granted more than $200,000 to local organizations and 501(c)(3) public charities, including Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Northern Home for Children, Susan G. Komen for the Cure Philadelphia, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Caren Sydnor Locomotor Training Fund, the Burn Foundation and the Nathan Speare Regional Burn Treatment Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Joel Feldman a managing partner at Anapol Schwartz , is quoted saying, “It was a natural progression” for the firm. “We were involved in charitable work in the local community for some time. Starting the foundation made sense to us because we represented clients who had suffered terrible injuries, and there were many other people who had suffered the same but did not have cases and did not have help.”
