The CHOP Fetal Family Reunion

The Anapol Schwartz Foundation sponsored the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) 17th Annual Fetal Family Reunion on June 23, a community effort that celebrates and reunites hundreds of families facing congenital defect challenges.

The CHOP Fetal Family Reunion gives patients and families treated at the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment a chance to bond with others going through similar situations. The center offers specialized care to mothers carrying fetuses with known birth defects such as

spina bifida and heart conditions that require treatment before or immediately following birth. The Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment has saved the lives of countless children, because they treat fetal anomalies that may be turned away by other hospitals. The center is one of only a few of its kind in the world.

“The challenges these children and their families faced are enormous, and to be a part of their collective celebration of overcoming obstacles is a gift to us at Anapol Schwartz,” Joel Feldman said. “We have worked with the Children’s Hospital on a number of projects, and once again we are in awe of how truly special a place CHOP is.”

As leaders committed to improving the lives of injured children and adults, the lawyers at Anapol Schwartz are proud to be part of this meaningful event that makes a positive difference for families who have been treated by such an important fetal care center.
